IT’S HEDGEHOG SEASON

Wild California Hedgehog Mushrooms are similar to Chantrelles with a spiny looking underside instead of gills & a sweet, nutty flavor. They pair well with garlic, butter, cream, olive oil, shallots, thyme, Parmesan cheese, eggs, poultry, sweet potatoes and mussels. Be adventurous & try some!

PEPPERNUTS

Peppernuts, AKA Pfeffernusse, are little cookies with a big ginger taste. Baked from an old German family recipe, their provocative & satisfying taste can be enjoyed with fine wine, freshly brewed coffee, tea, ice cream, cold milk, blue cheese, or even by themselves.
