A Citrus Celebration!
Fall is here, and so are the mandarins! Sweet, good for you, seedless, and easy to peel—how can you not love a mandarin?
MILES OF MANDARINS
Right now, we have the delicious Okitsu Wase Early Satsumas, grown in Coloma. Our PlacerGROWN Owari Satsumas will be in the store soon, and this season promises to be early and abundant. Our sweet and delicious fruit is grown on Jan and Francis Thompson’s own Twin Brooks Farm in Loomis. And just like last year, we can ship 10- or 25-pound boxes of mandarins to your family and friends far and near. You won’t have to lug the boxes to the post office, and your loved ones will appreciate this delicious gift from Placer County. Order in the store or online! Click the mandarins link at left for more information.
We also have plentiful supplies of all things mandarin, including Mandarin Marmalade made with our own mandarins, Snow’s Citrus Court Products including Mandarin Marinade, Mandarin Stir Fry Sauce, Mandarin Ice Cream Topping, and Mandarin Syrup, Earth & Vine Mandarin Pumpkin Marmalade, and a new Mandarin Champagne Jelly from Sandstone Farms and Winery.
5-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Mandarin season is extra sweet for us here at Newcastle Produce because November is also the month we celebrate our anniversary. And this year is a big one! FIVE YEARS! Come celebrate with us Saturday, Nov. 13, when we will share a special anniversary cake made by Cathy, our Queen of Sweets.
MANDARIN FESTIVAL
Come see us at the Mandarin Festival, Nov. 20-21 at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. You can come by the store or see us in our festival booth, where you can check out our signature jams, syrups, mustards, mandarin marmalade, and other yummy items. You can also place orders at our booth for gift boxes and mandarins to ship to your family and friends far and near.
LET US HELP YOU WITH THE HOLIDAYS
Just think: you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time with family. Click on the Specials link for a menu of sides and sweets we can make for your holiday meal.
We hope you will stop in soon and join in our citrus celebration!
